Offering a spiritual gift is a beautiful way
pray for both the living and the deceased —- to remember a loved one, give thanks for blessings received, or seek God’s help in times of need.
Please visit the parish office for any of the suggested offerings:
-
Mass Intention - $10.
A Mass may be offered on any mass for a special intention, in thanksgiving, or for the repose of the soul of a loved one.
-
The Sanctuary Lamp - $25.
The continuous burning of the Sanctuary Lamp near the tabernacle, glowing day and night as a reminder of Christ’s living presence among us, can be offered as a dedication for an entire week in memory of a loved one or for a special intention.
-
Bread and Wine - $25.
The Bread and Wine brought to the altar and consecrated during Mass — the gifts that become the Body and Blood of Christ — may be offered for an entire week in memory of a loved one or for a special intention.
-
Altar Candles - $35.
The light of the Altar Candles, burning faithfully at the altar throughout the week, can be offered as a dedication in memory of a loved one or for a special intention.
-
Altar Flowers - $75.
The beauty of the Altar Flowers, placed before the Lord to honor and glorify Him, may be offered for an entire week in thanksgiving, remembrance, or as a special intention.
The
Saint James Memorial Society is a meaningful act of faith, offering parishioners a way to express love and devotion by uniting their loved ones’ names with the prayers of the Church. Through this enrollment, those remembered are continually lifted before the Lord in the Sacred Liturgy and held in the ongoing prayers of our parish community.
Enrollment in the Society is for one full year, with an annual membership offering of
$40. During that year, all enrolled members are prayerfully remembered at the
8:30 AM Mass on the first Monday of each month.
The current list of members of the Saint James Memorial Society can be found in the embedded PDF below.
